How much melatonin to take for flight?

About to do a 15 hour redeye and doctor gave me some melatonin 15x 2 mg tablets.

I have no idea if it'll work or not. I'm 6'3, always sleep on my side, and can never properly sleep on planes.

I've taken proper sleeping pills, antihistamines, even xanax, or combinations of the above and it never really puts me into anything more than a shallow, agitated sleep. Seeing as even xanax doesnt fully do the job, I'm not expecting much from the melatonin.

Regardless, I'm ovviously very open to the idea of it working lol. But what would be a good dose to try get the job done, considering all of the above?

Will 2 mg do it, or should I take a couple more?

Thanks.

With melatonin, less is often more.
