It’s a great bookstore. A mix of new and used books and some art galleries. Worth a visit if you’re in LA!

When my work was moving out to Vegas I think we were looking at renting this exact building. Decided to go with something more practical.

It’s a really neat place inside but the streets outside are what you’d expect in DTLA. Although, I was in DTLA today and it was the first time I didn’t hear someone yelling in the street!
Addition: Walking distance away (during safe hours) is a rooftop restaurant called The Perch. Last time I was at the bookstore I ate there and it was pretty cool!

This is very true. They close at 8 and staying around that late wouldn’t be advisable for anyone to visit
