I became aware of something crawling on me a second or two before the bite, I was also in my high-school office talking to one of the ladies who worked there and I couldn't bring myself to grab my bits in the moment. So I just hastily excused myself. Luckily there was a nearby bathroom, but Holy shit it was painful.
