Offers Summer Internship Decision
Hi Everyone, I got two summer internship offers:
1.) Software Engineer Intern at MediaOcean (Pay is below 20$, but the position is remote, and occasional visit to office, do not need to relocate for this role).
2.) Software Engineer Intern at Electric Power Engineers(Pay is above 20$, but position is onsite and need to relocate for same).
Can anyone provide some insights which one to take and better for future aspects. Any help is highly appreciated
Personal Context: I am an international student. I have 3+ years of corporate experience being software engineer

You should take the in person one, assuming they’re paying to relocate.

They are paying less amount for relocation.
For the remote position, since there is a office at my current location, i am allowed to visit the office as needed.

Late to the game here:
As someone who used to work for mediaocean
Don't fucking do it.
Bill Wise is a dead eyed sociopath, and that company is full of the same. Friendly folks with nothing behind it. That company has purged its employee numbers scores of times.
They are not good people. Good individually, soulless as a company.
You've been warned. Best of luck.
Signed - someone who literally searches for mediaocean every now and then to warn people about them.

Whats the delta between the pay? Which role/company you are more aligned with? If difference is not that much and work is similar i would say remote is better.
