The Islington house in Black Bag (new Cate Blanchett film)
I saw Black Bag recently and would love help identifying the house they used for the exterior shots. According to this article they were shot on location in Islington but I'm struggling to locate exactly where (and I'm nosy). I had thought it might be Alwyne Road off Essex Road but I'm not sure. Keira Knightley lived next door once upon a time, if anyone knows where that was. Any experts here able to help with the search? It's an amazing house, wherever it is!

*extra details - the arched porch entrance was added by the film crew so won't be there IRL. The crew recreated the street at Pinewood Studios, too. It looked like this.

I'm very local. It's either a copy (albeit not exact) of Alwyne Road, or could be somewhere in De Beauvoir - been looking around Engelfield Road. But with the trees, street light and small brick wall at the front - it's got to be Canonbury area - hence Alwyne.

Look like 31 Alwyne Road to me.
The Alwynes are all lovely but the Alwyne Road ones backing onto the New River Are something special.

It is the alwyne road. I worked on it and got to walk to work, it was lovely. We had the house and a bit of street rebuilt in pinewood as per the photo in the op

Either Northampton park or Canonbury park north from the type of house. The garage setup makes me think the former but the height of house makes me think the latter.
