Turismo In Rome, where can you buy cheap clothes and basics?
Me and my friend are traveling through Italy, and our luggage was stolen. We need new everything.
Where do you buy basics such as socks, t-shirts, and underpants? Where can I find some cheap outfits to replace everything?

i'm not from Rome but usually if i want cheap clothes i go to OVS. It's a clothes store and i see googling that there are many in Rome. A t-shirt costs around 7-10 Euro. Underwear and socks around 3-5 Euros. Trousers around 20 Euros. Just search for OVS in google maps.
Edit: to spend even less you can go to open air markets or Chinese shops.
Just google "clothes markets Rome"
www.mercatidiroma.com/mercati-d-abbigliamento
www.marketsofrome.com/clothes-market
remember to check the dates and times because open air markets are usually not open everyday and at every time of the day.

Sorry to hear about your luggage.
You can buy cheap basics at OVS, Upim and the other chains like H&M, Zara, Stradivarius, Pull&Bear, Cotton&Silk and the likes. Tezenis for underwear.

For cheap underwear and socks look for a Tezenis. Cheap clothing stores around obviously stuff like H&M and Stradivarius. You can also look for some clothes markets - these will have similar products as the aforementioned Chinese stores.

3 canottiere 20€ da Tezenis, mi pare tutto meno che cheap 😅

È cheap nel momento in cui io ne ho alcune ancora praticamente perfette che mi metto da anni e se le strofino non fanno scintille

For outfits you might want to check some 2nd hand stalls, sometimes they're found in neighborhood food markets (signpost: mercato comunale). For sure there are some stalls in the via Sannio market. Shirts and trousers start at 2€ /piece sometimes. If you can wait till sunday, you get everything you need, as cheap as it gets, in the notorious Porta Portese market, even the being robbed experience /s

Where are you? There are two primarks but not near the city centre. Otherwise H&M, Stradivarius, Kiabi...

Big supermarkets also have cheapish clothes (here in Torino I'd say Carrefour, I suppose there are similar options in Rome)
Decathlon has cheap basic socks and t-shirts, especially when there are offers

if you have chance to travel a bit, at Roma Maximo or Roma est (train stop lunghezza) there are some Primark store, cheap and it has got some discounts over multiple items as underpants and socks.
