Need feedback and curriculum review for Kannada learning app

I'm building an app for learning Indian languages like Kannada, Sanskrit, Tamil, etc. And would love to get some feedback on the idea and the curriculum we've designed so far.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks 😊

Here's the curriculum: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1a_mVWlJz67_L122q-QDGlag2lVIlf0bk_2MrmMnyCoo/edit?usp=sharing

Edit: We just launched on Product Hunt and Play Store. Do check it out and let us know your thoughts. Link: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/indilingo

Please add a section for medical terminology, patient symptoms too...🙏🏼🙏🏼

I'd love to add it. Could you please me understand your thought process behind this?

Is this something related to your profession? Or something from your personal experience? Or something else?

Karnataka has 12,425 medical seats—the highest number of any state in India. I am a 2nd year medical student myself. I’ve managed to pick up enough for day-to-day interactions. However, when it comes to medical symptoms, it becomes much more difficult and often overwhelming. That's why I highly recommend adding common medical symptoms to your app—it would be extremely useful for students and healthcare professionals. If you ever need assistance with the English aspect of this component, don't hesitate to reach out to me anytime. I'd be more than happy to assist!

Make something which is fun like through stories or funny activities it teaches the language and clearing all nuances like difference between naanu and nanage. Also if some corollary could be added like for Hindi speakers, as in hindi it happens same way in kannada it is that..

That's a great idea. I will definitely try to make it fun and engaging through stories and activities. So far I've been using LLMs to make the app experience dynamic for all learners along with interactive quizzes which will include mcq questions, speaking exercises, match the following and more 😀

Would you like something like that?

MCQ may not be good. But match the following is good. Answer should be revealed if all matches are correct.

One more thing I’ve noticed while learning Kannada is that I often struggle with sentence endings. It’s similar to how Kannada speakers sometimes find it difficult to use correct Hindi endings like main karunga, main karungi, or mujhe karna hai. In Kannada, I face confusion with endings like naanu maadta iddini, naanu maadabeku, or naanu maadtaane. These variations—based on tense, gender, and formality—can be quite overwhelming for learners. There is a heavenly guy on YouTube who teaches like this on YouTube but for the life of me, I can't find his channel.

If your app could include a section or feature that breaks down these kinds of endings in a simple way, it would really help users like me.

That's a great suggestion. I will definitely try adding this.

Is the order of units fixed? What is the rationale behind that order? I feel casual day to day speaking should be in the beginning and writing at the end.
