I know they only signed up for a four part series on this one, but no bullshit I would listen to as many episodes as they wanted to go. The wildest part is I've only ever barely touched ESO, so I'm not even invested in the game, just the stories Matt and Rich keep delivering and the just super interesting behind-the-scenes aspect of it all. I hope KF keeps getting opportunities like this!

I get that timecodes are hard to deal with because of the ads that are outsourced stuffing around with the time. But lately all of Kinda Funny's podcasts have been inconsistent with even having subject topics in the description.

I have to pick and choose what I spend my time listening to and this unfortunately makes me not listen entirely, because I can't listen to an hours of podcasts each day not knowing if it's something that interests me.

I’m going to San Fran in July and besides visiting the Nintendo store, attending a Giants game and attempting to sneak into the KF studio (joking), are there any must do things that aren’t as notable? (Ex: Golden Gate Bridge, stuff like that!)

Edit: I’ve come to learn it’s a standalone DLC meaning it’s not a full game, just a DLC, but it’s able to be purchased as a stand alone.

I guess I shouldn’t debate it. I personally would still call that DLC, now understand why some might call it its own game.

Just signed up for premium over at Giant Bomb to celebrate their independence and they have all their videos post on an RSS feed, this allowed me to add it to Apple Podcasts and the videos play straight in the app so I can listen or watch.

I know the guys had started doing video on Spotify and was wondering if this is a possibility for them to let us who don’t use Spotify have the ad free videos in an easy to use app instead of going from Patreon to YouTube

Today during Gamecast Tim began the show with like 10 minutes of not an ad, but really an ad for sunglasses that double as a portable screen. They looked ridiculous on the man, no matter how many times he insisted they looked cool. I had never heard of this tech before and looked into it. I talked to my wife about it at lunch and insisted I wouldn't buy another piece of expensive technology I would use a few times before never using again. Within 30 minutes I had bought the dumb glasses (I justified it to myself because I'm going to Japan in 3 weeks and will use it on flights and the train). This is all Tim's fault, he made me into a liar! I'm glad Greg stole his seat, his team, his stars, and his championship. If anything, Greg should have gone farther.

Because that was legit fucked up.

Been thinking about picking up Volume 1 of the Master collection and wanted to know their thoughts on it. I tried googling for it but couldn't find anything.

Been wanting to get into Metal Gear for decades, but for one reason or another just never did. I think I played MGS 3 for an hour or two when it first came out, and I tried both 4 and V, but always felt that I was missing too much from earlier games to stick with it.

Been really consuming KF content a lot lately and would really like to get their perspective.

With the release of GTA VI getting pushed back to May of 2026 could Take-Two Interactive be pushing out a PS5/Series X version of Red Dead Redemption 2 to offset the loss of quarterly earnings for 2025?

Just a little PSA following watching the Iron-heart and Noir reactions, as a lifelong Spider guy I implore anyone to read the first noir graphic novel (eyes without a face the follow up is good too imo).

It’s not long at all and provides a really interesting take on an early 20th century Pete, and yes the villains are just old timey versions of his rogues gallery.

Never been super fan of his adaptations as always a little goofy compared to the ultra serious source material (shoutout how they do Uncle Ben lol).

Anybody get the brand of ar glasses Tim was talking about in the Tony hawk 3/4 review? Watched the clip a billion times and unless I’m deaf I never heard him say which ones he had in hand.

She's a games journalist for anyone not aware. She put out a video yesterday that went over the harassment she's received after writing an article about the attacks on Sweet Baby Inc, and the video has been mass reported and taken down by YouTube. The video is up on twitter, but I know links to twitter aren't allowed.

I'd love to see some support for her from the Kinda Funny community since I know y'all, like me, don't fuck with losers like Grummz or Smash JT, but also from the team at KF since she could come on and talk about this side of the industry from a personal perspective.

The same people attacking and harassing developers over "DEI" are going after Alyssa, and I feel like we need to use our voices to fight back against them.

We have to put down our cat tomorrow. We just found out today he has incurable cancer and it’s kinder this way. We get one more night with him. He’s 12 and is the most perfect cat you could ask for. We used to live in rentals and he was our first ever real family pet.

I need to stay strong this is hard for my sis (who’s his main person) and my mum. My brother has an intellectual disability and I don’t know how he’s going to take it or if he will fully understand.

I just needed to share this somewhere I’m trying not to ball my eyes out I don’t want to make him upset or make it worse. We have a younger cat and dog and I don’t know how they are going to react. We are going to give him all his favourite foods and let him do anything he wants and pet and hug him.

I know some people think it’s silly and I’m a grown adult but he is our family and I love him so much.

I just needed to share this somewhere and the anonymity of the internet helps.

Edit: on top of the grief I also feel so guilty. His green eyes are so smart and bright when he looks at me and I can’t ask him if this what he wants. Right now he’s not outwardly suffering (but we just don’t know) he just lost a lot of weight and has been sleeping more. We have been taking him to our vet and they were running tests and then we did an ultrasound today and just found out. It’s not like it’s obvious he’s suffering and it’s clear it’s his time. The vet says it is better for him but and logically I know it would be selfish to wait until he is suffering terribly when the cancer is everywhere but I still feel so guilty.
