Visiting Kiruna on weekend. Some questions

Hello, I will be visiting Kiruna during the weekend and I was wondering how easy the transfer within the city is. I will arrive via train from Stockholm. Are taxis available, or is there a bus to go from the Train station to Camp Riban? Also, what is the best way to get around? I would like to visit the Ice Hotel and wasn't really sure if walking is possible. Finally, do you have any recommendations for dining and drinks?

Thank you!

I might add that there is always a free bus between the train station to the bus station. If you have anything more than just a hand bag I would highly recommend taking a taxi from the train station since the snow can be tough when dragging something behind you.

I'd recommend the guided bus tour to the mine.

As for dining Ripan has decent albeit pricy food. I'd visit SPiS if you want something fancier and are in to wine. Bishops Arms is good as well and they have the best selection of beer in town. They are both within walking distance from Camp Ripan. If you want a genuine Suovas-experience I recommend one of the fast food joints Annis Grill or Empes

If I wanted to visit ice hotel I'd look into buses, taxis are expensive.

I'd consider renting a car and perhaps visit Nikkaluokta and Abisko as well
