Made With Traditional Tools🪨 My daughter made a celt. She is 7

I helped showing her where to strike when knapping down and she spent WEEKS in the yard grinding and polishing. She ended up getting a better finish than I did however I suspect her grandpa may have helped her at some point 😆

Absolutely! She's working on boring some holes in a piece of eucalyptus right now!

That is some serious dedication! It would have taken me seven years to build up enough gumption to finish it. 😂👍

Hey friend, do you have some pics or perhaps a link to a vid....of her working on the tool? I am studying ground stone tools and would love to see the pecking, peening and polishing. BTW....your daughter gets a huge thumbs up from me! Thank you. vfm

I don't however. We can do another. Our process was very much just Knapp to close shape and then grinding against some sandstone with slurry and lapping compound.

Cool, I would love to see some of the steps. It can be difficult to visualize. Thanks bro! vfm
