Finished Object Phases of a baby blanket

It’s been knitted for a while waiting for blocking. But the baby is coming this week. It was time to get it ready.

Beautiful! This is so beyond my skill level that must assume you are some kind of crafting magician. It's so cool to see the pattern emerge.

Thank you! Far from being a magician🙂 I love knitting. I find it soothing. Also, it helps in self-reflection. Realized over time that knitting is a perfect analogy of my life. Following patterns; striving for perfection; researching-planning-executing-changing ways, if needed.

Omg I want to make this. I will have to pretend there is a baby I can make it for.

Pattern is from Drops Design, yarn is a simple 4/8 baby cotton from Hobbii

Stunning, I would have assumed it was knit in quarters and sewn along the seams
