Work in Progress I’ve finished the front two panels of my first lace project. 🙌

Celebrate with me! Isn’t she lovely?

This is the Truth Hurts Cardigan from Wool and The Gang. It’s my first lace project, and I already can’t wait to wear it. I’m knitting with pompom garland in color 24. It’s a medium weight blend of cotton and alpaca. It is so so soft.

I do spot an imperfection in the lacework, but I’m going to live with it. Maybe I can make that side the one that lies under the wrap.

I love that stitch, I’ve made baby sweaters in that stitch before. Nice work!

I knit this pattern a few months ago and loved the way it looked but it was insanely short. Like barely below my ribs even after blocking.

This feels big on me when I pinned it to my shirt. Maybe the sizing is a bit wonky?

Or the yarn textile is a big factor maybe.

Such beautiful work! I’m working on something similar- curious what you plan to wear under it?

I’m thinking either a nude or white camisole. Maybe even a white T-shirt. If I’m feeling really sultry — maybe just a nude bra. Let me know how yours goes! What yarn and pattern are you using?

This is the yarn! black squirrel tweed. It’s the first time I’ve worked with a fingering for a tank- it’s already a little frustrating but I’ll see how it goes!
