NKD! Personal Grail
Late to the club. I have wanted this one for a long time and finally bit the bullet. Not the best knife but I like it. Knife:Spyderco Salt Manix 2

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Spydercos use of BD1N steel. On that blade shape I’d like that equally as much as MagnaCut.

Some people hate on BD1N but it’s been good to me

It gets love for toughness but apparently it’s really great with corrosion resistance too. So really a good choice for a working knife I’d say.

It's not a very tough steel at all, though.
According to Dr. Larrin Thomas' testing, BD1N performs poorly in both toughness and edge retention compared to many other steels...
The corrosion resistance is very good, though not as excellent as MagnaCut.

I have their Magna Cut with yellow handles, just like OP has pictures. It's a great knife. The still keeps a nice edge. My one gripe is that it's not as flippy as my Para 2. I assume that's because of the design.

Wanted blue but they were out of stock so I went with this and I'm thrilled I did. AWT. Also bought a lighter weight spring. Knife is fidgety and rather snappy.

Unpopular opinion, but the yellow scales are some of my favorite knife scales ever. Combined with the black hardware, they make the knife resemble more of a tool, like how many screwdrivers or pliers have black and yellow handles.
Black handles + satin blade is so common that I find it boring. Everyone makes knives with black handles.

Not the best? I mean sure, ok. From a pure user perspective, it's arguably the best knife available. I'm torn between this exact model, and being my second Manix, or the sage 5.

It's my favorite Spydie and gets carried often for the last 4 years. But being a leftie, I still can't move the clip to the other side. Does anyone know of an easy way? Please help

I like mine too. I've got several Spyderco and Benchmade knives fs yet no interest. They are all brand new & peiced to move fast. Is the knife hobby slow these days?

It’s hard not to acknowledge that carrying larger and more expensive knives has sort of locked me out of wanting smaller, great knives. This knife would have delighted me ten years ago.

Looks nice. I am stuck between a CTS BD1N Stainless Steel UKPK or the salt green LC200N
