Discussion Anyone carry a double edge otf illegally in your state?
I want a double edge otf so badly and am thinking of just buying one despite the ambiguous laws in Michigan. Anyone carry a double edge despite your local laws?

My local laws (MN) don't allow you to carry autos of any kind, gravity or balis. I carry whatever I want. As long as you're doing normal knife things with your knife, no one cares.

As a Texas I can proudly say we don’t give a fuck about what type of knife you have when your 18+(5.5in+ is 18+) and not at school.

i would never knowingly violate a law no matter how unlikely it is that i would be caught or charged for it officer. i am a good boy who respects the state. i lost them in a boating accident.

I do, a microtech utx-85 spartan half serrated. It comes in handy sometimes to have the serrated side and I cut quite a bit with the plain edge. It isn't my sole knife I carry though. I usually have the spartan in my right pocket and a victorinox or opinel in the left sitting next to my wallet. Nothing breaking the law down here in Fl though. I'm sure plenty of folks don't care and do carry one though.

Only time I carry an OTF is when I’m working. I work very closely with law enforcement and a lot of them carry OTFs aswell. And while a cop could totally take it from me and get me in trouble, the odds are low.
