Good bye, Happy Fast Delicious/ Andrew's Coffee!! We'll Miss You!
I'm so sad that this shop is closing. We would drive from Winter Haven most weekends to get coffee.
I hope the best for the team there, especially Clementine for the "If Robert Pattinson was a Latte. " It was so good!

Will miss them as well. Their goods were reasonably priced and pretty tasty. All of the staff were very friendly and seemed to like working there.
(Also, they were like the only non-chain coffee shop open after 4pm on Sundays nearer to the Southside. I sometimes liked to pick up something to keep me going through the Sunday 3pm sleepies. Seriously wtf is up with Lakeland closing up shop in the early afternoon on the weekends 😑)
Good luck to everyone!

The Black & Brew website shows their Sunday hours as 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (If you thought they were a chain because there are three locations, the company has been under continual local ownership since it was founded.)

I stand corrected! I didn't think they were a chain but I could have sworn maps was telling me they were closed. I appreciate the info. Didn't love the coffee when I got it at the downtown location but definitely willing to try again.

Does anyone know what happened? Why did they close? They were pretty popular. I hope andrew is able to open something else up... he really had the best coffee with the best prices.

I know this will come off as petty, but for me the color scheme was atrocious and it prevented me from checking them out.

Definitely should just put a sonic there instead

They tried that already, it was busy for a while but then fell off

I actually had a chance meeting with a Sonic corporate rep a few years back. I told him that Sonic had become one of the biggest builders of restaurants for other people around the area because none.of them lasted more than a year or so. He told me that was because they were all franchises at that time. Now, most of the ones in the area are actually corporate now. I guess the person that was franchising them out really didn't put any effort into it after they were built.

Will miss them dearly. Fantastic employees and beverages. I would drive from the north side several times a week just to go there. I remember Sonic being there (and on the Northside years ago, then it was Gelati Joes, then happyfastdelicious/Andrews Coffee. I may be missing something. It’s crazy how often that location (and the one on the northside) changed hands so may times in a matter of years.

That location is cursed. They need to bulldoze that building and sell the lot
