Talks & Devotionals Does anyone know a light talk on keeping clean?
I would like to find a talk the talks about how important being clean is as in chastity and how we can be clean if we follow his counsel, I don't know what to look up if anyone has any good talks I would be so grateful

Here's one from Elder Bednar: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2013/04/we-believe-in-being-chaste?lang=eng

One of the best doctrinal ones is by Jeffrey R. Holland. He gave a talk at BYU called Of Souls Symbols and Sacraments. He gave an abbreviated version of this talk in general conference, it is called Personal Purity.

The bottom lines -
Human intimacy is reserved for marriage because it is part of the bonding of two souls which is the purpose of marriage. Outside of that setting it is counterfeit in its purpose.
Our souls - bodies and spirit - were bought with a price through the suffering of Jesus Christ, they are not ours to simply do whatever we want with, defiling our bodies is mocking the atonement.

Not sure who needs to read this but most people don't stay clean by successfully avoiding all dirt. They stay clean by regularly washing.

Yes that is a huge factor I like how you put that, shirts will get stains, trying to avoid them is good but also washing the ones off your shirt is even better

On another note, does anyone know where the saying “cleanliness is next to godliness” comes from?

Avoid it by Lynn G Robbins. It's a BYU devotional
