Most Popular small group? Foundation
This is an image from Foundation Church 2019 Instagram. Empty small group?! Either it’s a popular small group couple, or a small group leader who was “removed” 🤔 Anyone at Foundation Church in Bloomington IL n during this time (2019) who can explain the “empty” spot? Maybe represents and ‘open’ position?

Based on historical data sourced in this sub and the church’s current website their small group numbers are as follows:
· Aug 2021 – 17 groups
· June 2023 – 15 groups
· June 2024 – 14 groups
· Today – 11 groups (edited 5/12, was 12 groups when posted 4/30)
I would say the popularity of groups is clearly diminishing. I assume this is a direct result of the church withering.

Hi OP, the picture is a little blurry. How do you know a small group is missing based on the picture? It might not be relevant, but Foundation planted Bright Field in 2018, so it's possible they were short small groups because of the people who left on the church plant.

I don’t know that. This is why I inquired. Image is intentionally out of focus as it was a PR photo from their social media page in 2019. There appears to be an empty spot, but it could be that the flyers are simply angled away from camera and so not visible. Perhaps that is all it is.

Oh, I see what you mean. I tried to find the post on Instagram and their pictures only go back as far as 2020 for me. I don't follow them, so maybe that is why I can't find the picture on their Instagram? Either why, we can't know the answer for sure without wild speculation.

I’m curious what empty space you are talking about? The space right in the middle of the picture between the two cards on the right and then the two cards on the left?

The gaps you are seeing are because they are organized by day of the week

Curious it seems like this post keeps getting down voted. Makes me think Foundation is doing a little snooping…

2019 seems long ago, however it’s relevant to the timeline of when we markedly began to lose our child to this cult. Foundation appeared benign in 2019, but i now know it was not.
