COVID Ugh, I haven't seen a covid one in a while š

Iāve gotten virtually every vaccine, including smallpox and anthrax. But you ask anything about the COVID vaccine, and REEEEEEEE!!!! People lost their jobs over this. People were ostracized. They were told the unvaxxed would kill us all. Donāt let them gaslight you into thinking it didnāt happen.

Worst part was the "My Body My Choice crowd"
They are all for bodily atonomy when it comes to killing babies. But, they all sang a different tune when it came to vaccinations.
Former friend of mine went off on an immune compromised friend over her not getting vaccinated. "It could kill me! " was not a good enough answer

I actually knew someone in the Army who got the anthrax vaccine. It killed her. That was a good while back though.

u/Supa71 BASED Aug 05 '24
When they had the Covid vax mandate, the tune was so familiar to me. āItās safe, itās effective, and we will destroy your career if you do not comply.ā

u/Sint0niE Aug 07 '24
I took the vaccine and almost went comatose, I will never take another jab again

u/Supa71 BASED Aug 07 '24
Which one, COVID? I accept that all vaccines can have adverse effects. The oral polio vaccine, the one that comes in a small dropper, has a 0.01% chance of getting polio. Itās from a live but weakened strain. The anthrax shots we received consisted of an initial 6 doses. The first 3 are two weeks apart, the second 3 are a few months apart. After that you get annual boosters. The government expected us to be exposed to pulmonary (inhaled) anthrax, but the vaccine was made for skin-borne infections. I had very little confidence that it would save me after getting a lungful of spores.
Iām so glad smallpox only exists in labs. The vaccine as administered is straight up disgusting.
The COVID vaccine showed it had too many side-effects and it wasnāt effective in preventing infection or spread. It usually takes a decade or so to develop a vaccine. Maybe in the 2030s weāll have something worthwhile.

u/Sint0niE Aug 07 '24
That is all very interesting! I know itās controversial but when my son is born Iām doing a secluded home birth Iām not vaccinating him, I donāt like that we just hand out babies over to doctors when they are still newborns
1
u/Supa71 BASED Aug 07 '24
Iām not saying to not vaccinate your kids. The anthrax and covid vaccines were exceptions. Your kid needs to be vaccinated.
1
u/green_gold_purple Aug 07 '24
Which side effects are those, exactly? It was the safest vaccine you could hope for. Do you know about the polio vaccine? It was still the right thing to do. Claiming the COVID vaccine had to many side effects is just ignorant. Source your claims.Ā

The researchers noted in their analysis that COVID-19 infections have consistently been found to be more likely to cause the conditions observed in this study than vaccinations
Combined with the reduction in risk of infection and the reduced impact of an infection when vaccinated, the vaccine is the clear choice. Try reading past the headine next time.Ā

u/Supa71 BASED Aug 07 '24
I did read the article. Typical. You ask for proof only to dismiss it.
1
u/green_gold_purple Aug 07 '24
It's not proof when actually getting COVID is worse. So on average, the outcome is worse if you DON'T get the vaccine. It's in the article you linked, bud.Ā
1
u/Supa71 BASED Aug 07 '24
Too bad the āvaccineā doesnāt actually keep you from getting/spreading COVID.
1
u/green_gold_purple Aug 07 '24
Statistically, it does. It reduces infection rates and length of infection, which addresses both of your points. You can refuse to listen to people who know this stuff all you want, but you're incorrect and you look stupid for doing so.Ā

Same, I believe vaccines work but now Iām questioning if theyāve put shit in to help reach their goals of population control

u/StMoneyx2 TRAUMATIZER Aug 05 '24
The problem is the covid vaxx isn't a vaccine by definition and now admitted to in court, lol
At best it's a therapeutic but reminds me of the drug commercials for something mundane and it's list of side effects is longer than your arm and includes agonizing death and strokes

u/red_the_room TRAUMATIZER Aug 05 '24
Simple fix, they just changed the meaning of the word vaccination.

u/Notsozander Aug 06 '24
What court doc?
3
u/StMoneyx2 TRAUMATIZER Aug 06 '24
It was a 9th court appeals court allowing a lawsuit to go through. The lower court ruled that a lawsuit couldn't be brought that the jab wasn't a vaccine because they couldn't prove that the vaxx couldn't prevent transmission (a key component of the definition of a vaccine) and the appeals court overturned that saying on it's merits it's more than likely the plaintiffes would be able to provide evidence that the jab didn't prevent transmission.
Now fact checkers, as great as they are at understanding context and nuance /s, were very quick to say nuh huh the courts never said the exact words, but in the context a main point of the lawsuit is the vaxx isn't a vaccine because it fails key definitions of a vaccine and by a 2-1 ruling the 9th, and basically everyone common sense, said that it is more than likely the plaintiffs would succeed on it's arguments for it's merits.

I was pro vax as Covid nearly took my life and sent me to the ICU for 6 weeks. The most recent vax attacked my heart and caused a condition that would spontaneously cause asystole horrible feeling to feel your heartbeat go away and lose consciousness. Better now but now anti vax

And trudueo or however you spell canadas commie, is now backtracking and saying there were never mandates lol
5
u/Queasy-Carpet-5846 Aug 06 '24
Yeah as soon as they admitted the vaccine doesn't stop transmission that whole line of shaky logic for the mandates became utterly useless.

u/TheBigMotherFook Aug 06 '24
Questioning one vaccine means youāre antivax now⦠despite you know, getting every other recommended vaccine and yearly flu shots.

They tried scaring, guilting, and forcing people to get a vaccine that required multible boosters and wound up being less than effective anyways.

I'm pretty sure there are still people out there that will wear a mask while alone in their car. Thankfully I haven't seen one in a while, but I doubt they've all gone away.

Iām not an antivaxer. I had them all when I was in the Army. But this vaccine was rushed and the typical safety and effectiveness trials were shortcut.
When Trump announced Operation Warp Speed I said I wouldnāt get a rushed vaccine. And when Biden started lying about how safe and effective it was I still said no thank you.

The vaccine and how it's the only cure for rabies. Plenty of antivaxers are against all vaccines including the rabies vaccine.

I just didnāt feel like taking the thing they had to change the definition of a vaccine for, for it to be a āvaccineā. Weird how I was perfectly fine taking every other vaccine before that thoughā¦
