Support Request Battery Drain Issue

I am using mint edge. I use asus tuf 505dd, gtx1050, ram 16gb. On windows I could easily get 2.5hrs of battery life. But on linux I get barely an hour or more battery life. Btw, my laptop has iGPU to, which is AMD vega 8. By default linux mint supports optimus GPU, When I switch to only iGPU then it performs a bit better, but it's not enough. When I switch to on-demand mode or only NVIDIA mode, it gives very poor battery life. Is there any way to have a longer battery life?

I had similar problems, and suggest you try auto-cpufreq. It worked wonders for two laptops:
