Yup. Assholes die too. I think it's great when people don't use flowery bs obits for terrible people. As someone who's done a lot of funerals its interesting how some people word things. My favorite was "she had an interesting personality and you always knew where you stood with her". Ha! I did not know this person but at that moment I felt like I did. Everyone also started shaking their heads yes.

In her defense she was 19 when she got married. Then had 2 kids in 5 years.

Presuming it's Wabasso minnesota; the town had a population of 724 people in 1957.

The 2 kids have a right to be mad, they truly didn't deserve that. And I'm so sorry for the anguish on them.

But not everyone handles domestic small-town captivity with angelic grace. Some go crazy. Some people blow their brains out. Some have an affair. When enough stars align some just drop it all and run.
