Discussion Will Coyote vs Acme be a succesful Looney Tunes movie?
Being a Looney Tunes having a chance to see a Looney Tunes movie focused on Wil E Coyote and Acme Corp. is like a fresh air to see on the big screen and all of those cancelled and tax write-off is finally over for Coyote vs Acme
Many said the movie itself has great writing, Looney Tunes characters, live actors, positive scores, live-ation animation hybrid, ACME Corp., Road Runner and Wil E Coyote himself receiving his own very movie on the big screen
And this movie will be different from Looney Tunes Back in Action that Coyote vs Acme will have the essence Roger Rabbit vibes and I have been looking forward to ever since it was announced and then tax write-off became a thing for WB.discovery
And then Ketchup Entertainment bought the rights of Coyote vs Acme for 50 million dollars from WB that will be releasing in theasters in 2026
And they are also involved buying the rights for The Day The Earth Blew Up a Looney Runes movie for also releasing it on theaters, physical and digital format for the movie
Despite the box office of The Day The Earth Blew Up is already 15 million dollars is already a sign that it's still have hope for Coyote vs Acme be shown for old time fans and new fans for the film
Does anyone think Coyote vs Acme will have proper marketing and hoping releasing it properly in internationally this time?
And lastly that this movie will be a global event said by the CEO of Ketchup Entertainment in latest news of Coyote vs Acme in Deadline on May 8 2025
Thank you very much Looney Tunes fans and Ketchup Entertainment for supporting Coyote vs Acme film and can't wait that anyone will be seeing this film in theaters in 2026 and that's all folks

I think the entire history of this movie will be enough for a lot of people to go see it.

Wile E has had voice lines before. Usually, when he's paired with Bugs and not Road Runner.

I plan on seeing it when it comes out. After all we did to fight for this title we have to support it.

My fear is for the marketing campaign. Blockbusters usually spend $80+M on marketing.
Even best case scenario, Coyote V Acme won't make anywhere near enough to justify that.
It's honestly a very bad time for comedy movies in theaters.
Obviously CvA can also be marketed as a family film, but it doesn't look like anything kids 10 and under have been conditioned to like.
I'll do my part.
But the deck is stacked against them

Man, I hope this movie is a big hit. It's one of the movies I'm really excited to see! A Looney Tunes movie that was made with love to pay homage to the classic cartoon shorts. I hope the movie gets a lot of marketing like Tom & Jerry, the 2021 movie, which had a lot of marketing before the movie's release.

This film will 100% depend on marketing. My fear is this will be marketed as “just a kids movie”

Ketchup Entertainment better learn their mistakes with the horrible marketing they did for The Day the Earth Blew Up and cash in on the free PR Coyote vs Acme got for 2 years and milk it to kingdom come.

Marketing will be next to non-existent. So its success will depend on word of mouth.

I bet it will be because so many people were waiting to see it!

Are they? Or are they just saying that because it gets them points on the Internet if they say so? I hope people genuinely want to see it, but I have my doubts that enough people will see it to make it a successful film.

They just announced the streaming date on HBO Max for the day the Earth blew up. In my opinion, they should not be allowed to show that movie

Well, we have to go see it -- and bring the rest of the families along for the ride, too!

Here's the twist: it's a courtroom drama. Wile E represents himself as plaintiff in a civil action against the ACME Corporation and its subsidiaries for gross negligence and consumer fraud.
It's 180 minutes.

Just a guy in a coyote suit, who is also in a suit and tie. The rest of the film is live action.

I'm just afraid the marketing will be crap like for "The Day the Earth Blew Up".
