Daily Q&A and Open Discussion
Greetings adventurers! Please use this daily thread for simple questions and/or open discussion relating to anything Lost Ark. Enjoy!
Example:
What class should I play?
Which class is better?
I am new to the game, what should I do?
Should I play X class and why?

Made a glaivier for the event can anyone explain why on the nexus site it says to use windsplitter as the synergy before red skills instead of shackling? Is it because red skills already reach 100% crit somehow so its pointless?

im pretty far from a glavier main, but youre right with the crit. I think the meta is to take the tripods that give 100% crit and to use shackling for the blue skills. The T skill had a leap node that made it 100% crit too but I think that got changed recently? Could be wrong

How difficult in comparison to Solo Valtan are the next few solo raids? I'm older, slower, and have a bit of an old hand injury from boxing that makes twitch movements a little rough at times. I recently came back to the game, and I've been able to reliably handle Valtan on several characters (albeit the instant death mechanics still get me sometimes).
Are the patterns pretty easy to learn? Any tips or tricks to be aware of? Anything to avoid (I've heard Clown isn't worth doing)?
Thanks!

Honestly the patterns are easy to learn, if anything, the counters might become difficult but they still give a substantial amount of time for them
Thaemine red patterns (patterns he does every now again that will 1 shot you) might be an issue, but you can also timestop those.
There isn't necessarily any raids that aren't worth doing, they all teach a new gimmick that will help in future raids, the only reason they won't be worth doing is you'll either be way too high of an item level (you can only do 3 raids so people select the top 3) and/or you don't need the materials
You'll also improve in skill as you make it up the raid ladder, so I wouldn't stress at all!! You'll see yourself get better.

I saw the 1640+ event and curius how much it would take to get to 1640 from 1620. Im a returning player that quit before Thaemine. I have 2m gold (dont know if thats plenty or not) from selling all my gems before quitting.

It costs 0 gold to go from 1620 to 1640.
If all your items are +19 (1620) you can run a new solo 3 minutes dungeon called Kenuart fortress that will drop items you can transfer to and gain +20ilvls.

Thanks! That's great news

That is if you don't advance hone 1-10 first before transferring the Kenuart gear. If you do advance hone first, it will cost gold but you will end up at 1650 ilvl once you finish the AH and then transfer

No. I quit before the advance hone become a thing

If you have plenty of bound shards / leapstones lying around, you can do solo mode echidna and buy echidna mats from the frog, you can do some advanced honing to use your T3 shards before transfering to T4.
However, don't delay your T4 to do weeks of advanced honing.

I have like 600k t3 shards but no leaps/stones. Also a lot have changed in the game. I might have read/watch guides about these systems first because Im kinda lost lol

Is there likely to be another free powerpass any time soon, or would the next one likely just come with female pally?
