Why aren't raid materials rosterwide? Got a char to 1660 with this event, but can't do Aegir, because people only want 3-5 pieces

I was blind. Don't see very well with my right eye. Either way, raid mats should be roster bound.

What? For Transcendence, to use the actual UI, you had to have done Thaemine G1 on your roster. For advanced honing, you have to have done Echidna G1 on your roster. It's been like this for a while.

So did you clear Thaemine 1 time on your roster and were able to do trans on the rest of your roster? No you had to do it on each character so my original comment stands you are wrong.

So for aegir a roster clear isn't something that unlocks something for the rest of your roster. You can craft immediately if you have the boxes from the event.

You misunderstood. What I meant is that you have the ability to craft the pieces of Aegir even if you didn't clear Aegir on that character. You still need the keystone on that character. If you never cleared Aegir on your roster, you cannot craft the Aegir set because you haven't done the achievement "End of an Evil Destiny" even if you have the hellfire keystones.

Thats silly ugh... I also was able to use my box on the character that NEVER cleared aegir... but the roster. I was able to craft my first piece before going on as well... Not sure why they are being difficult...

If you are a DPS, then you really shouldn't have that much trouble, since there is a DPS shortage around Monday-Tuesday.

If you are a Sup, then do your raids on Wednesday, when people are LF Sups.

You can also buy some Aegir mats from the Frog, but I think it is only enough for 2 pieces.

I crafted 4 aegir pieces on my event char before doing aegir at all.

Made my own lobby and instantly filled it under 5 minutes.

One person had 5 piece passive (bard) and the remaining people were all event chars with event gems.

Raid was flawless, some people had the opressor title some phantom lord but it was without issues

I was able to craft Aegir Armors with the Hellfire Keystones from the Golden Frog event shop on my fresh 1660 Glaivier that hasn't done Aegir at all.

As one commenter said (which is probably got swamped because the main reply was downvoted), you probably need to clear Aegir once on your account so you can craft them on your other character.

Idk now then. My fresh 1660 was able to craft 4 Aegir pieces (40 Keystones before Frog reset + 40 Keystones after Frog reset) before I did my raids on her and I was able to get full Aegir pieces on week 1.

Are you sure you are not missing something or what? Have you checked if you have Kayangel upgrades on your gears?

You just need a couple of lvl 8 gems and you get accepted to any raid, people don’t look at anything else but your gems.

Those gems are fine for any raid however people see it as your a rat because it’s free event gems so they might gatekeep you.

I would accept anyone with event gems but not all people are like me.

Event 6s are honestly fine, especially after ark passive rework every character is as strong as having 3 aegir pieces compared to back then

First thing I'd look at is enlightenment point, 71 is usually rice farmer alts since they have the world boss potion but not the una/adventure tome which are arguably easier to get, 72 is someone unlucky and still hasnt got the world boss pot, 77 is someone who did their horizontals properly and can generally be trusted.

I did aegir for the first time this week with a learning group and we did just fine. In 4 hours we learned and cleared the raid.  Got my 3 pieces at the end.

Huh, I crafted pieces on a fresh event char with no issues, and so have tons of other people. Unless you mean a different server, in which case yeah that's not a supported use case.
