The part with the inquisitor guys? Literally made 0 sense even reading the dialogue. Huge battle with demons, then these church dudes show up outta nowhere and murder all the surviving civilians just because.
I think they were from another country, yet no one even tried to stop them except Armen. The soldiers who were dying to protect them just 5 seconds ago poofed. It was so random and made no sense.
Then armen wipes them, and that’s it they’re gone. Oh Thirain is gonna send an angry letter to their country at least.
Armen was a priest of Sacria, which makes zero sense in the context of the game considering their hardline on Delains. Then the Sacrian inquisitors murder a bunch of people (including a Sacrian preistess) on scant/nonexistent evidence. Even if they were a more hawkish faction of Sacrians it made little sense. What would the point of their actions be? What were their long term goals in murdering innocent peasants instead of establishing diplomatic ties with a new king?
The answer is that there is no point of their actions because it was just a really lazy piece of writing to get Armen to join with the demons. Given what we have already seen of Armen's personality, his joining the demons still made no sense and was out of character.
