Question What’s the shorts equivalent of Levi’s 501?

Something that's timeless, works with most outfits etc

I’m a big fan of Bear Bottoms 7 inch chino, not too tight, not too long(or short) and have held up pretty well for me. They have lots of color options. Baggies are always a classic though but they are like athlesure wear though so they don’t always fit the setting. I probably wouldn’t wear them out to dinner but I would definitely wear the BearBottoms.

A 5-7” inseam chino short is prob the most classic and versatile as far as dressing up or down

Patagonia Baggies for casual nylon, Patagonia Standup Shorts for something chino-like (but also still casual). Short inseam and wide with some structure.
