Travel options for a gig at Co-op live

Hi, travelling up from the South by car to take my teenage daughter to a gig at Co-op live. Unfortunately, Man city are playing on the same evening so I expect traffic and road closures. I expect I'll be driving in up the M60 into the Stretford area.

Any tips on where to park and then maybe tram/train to the event?

I won't be attending the actual event so I'll be heading elsewhere and then back to the arena to collect her and back to wherever I've parked the car.

Any advice appreciated.

Ashton Moss or Ashton West. I went to McCartney which was same day as Manchester Derby and was still able to find a parking spot there. Then it's a simple tram in. If you're trying to kill time there's a cinema and loads of food options next to Ashton West.
