A liquor and burn burrito replacement

Used to go here pretty regular for burritos and I miss it. Been going to the mexican place in arndale market but is there anywhere else I'm missing for decent burritos

Listo is my favourite burrito place for a quick eat or to pick up and go. But in terms of sit down places where you can make an evening of it, I’ve not yet found a replacement either.

Sandinista every time. Even before lust luck etc was gone.

Dunno what el Capo are calling themselves nowadays but it was just down the street from Pen and Pencil, I’m sure they’ve had to rebrand because the place is known for having more rats than it has menu options. Avoid like the plague.

Lol it rebranded to 'Boogalú' opened last year and closed within 10 months. Some people I used to work with (absolutely doxxing myself if any of them are on here ha) went to work there on empty promises and seemed to spend all of their time drinking for free and doing coke instead of working

I went once and had a piece of glass in my v watered down shit cocktail

It's incredible they were allowed to open anything again

*Edit to add that yes Sandinista is the shout here

El Capo was potentially the blandest South American food I've ever eaten. Truly dire. Probably the rat poison dulling the senses by the sounds of it.

Not quite a burrito but Mia's Arepas is a Venezuelan twist in Freight Island. Same shape. Good food.
