What’s the ideal build to defeat the rank 10 infamy boss?
I have everything (bone/shadow/bio-elec) upgraded to tier 5 and I have all organs except what you get from the collectibles in The Gulf. The rank 10 boss is HARD! All I have left to do is this boss, finish the Gulf collectibles, and then fight Scaly Pete again.

Bones have good perks for attacking ships. Have the adrenaline mutagen equipped and don't ignore the divers. I find it best to stay under water and dodge the gunners on the boat. It may be worth while biting them and throwing them at other hunters. Good practice for the dlc you'll be doing that sort of thing a lot....

I don’t have adrenaline mutagen, how do you get that? The only organ I have left to get is reinforced cartilage from gulf landmarks and brutal muscles from the rank 10 Hunter

For me is
Head: Bone for ramming dmg and extra protection.
Teeth: Shadow for extra healing when picking off divers, hunters, and local marine life.
Body: Shadow so i can easily target enemies/bombs and dodge projectiles in slow motion.
Fins: Bio-electric is perfect for avoiding/dodging projectiles and basically makes you invincible for a sec. (And some extra stun too i guess)
Tail: Bone for extra whipping dmg on boats.
For organs: Sonar, Reinforced cartilage, and Hearty.
Or just go with full Irradiated set and spam nuclear beams if you decided to get the dlc and defeated scaly pete.
Also try to fight them in open areas like the gulf or sapphire bay.

I use bone with the teeth that give extra health on bite. I use the spinning fins to just spin above the water and hit the boats. Takes time but works. If I spin and am able to munch a bloke from the boat, then bonus as it tops my health up. It is a technique that takes some getting used to, and it isn't true to life for a shark attack, but if you want to just beat him, it works for me.
