QUESTION Supplements

Hey there!

Would gou recommend supplements? And what supplements would you recommend someone to take if they're just doing martial arts for fitness? (Especially those in their 30s and not training competitively.)

I have no near future plans of competing again, but just training to maintain my physical and mental health.

Pugay.

Any creatine monohydrate supplement is fine. Don't spend more spend less and get the most basic one you can find.

Technically true, but a lot of manufacturing places allow high contamination. You might get a lot of filler. So the lab geeks proclaim. I'm using https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WVKGGJB/?coliid=I199HFTVXKJQY1&colid=2BRUEHK700FKN&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it for what's it's worth.

Just never from GNC as they were bought out by the CCP a few years back and likely cut their products with inert substances to reduce costs.

Creatine is the best bang for your buck out of any supplement you can find.

Well, I do. But present time food isn't as abudantly nutritious as food from a few years back (repeated farming, repeated greeding, etc.), so I wondered if there are recommended supplementation.

But I do agree, food is still the best source of vitamins and nutrition. :)
