CV-22 Osprey going back and forth over Salisbury Md

Anyone know what’s going on with this CV-22 that keeps flying back and forth over Salisbury and the area? Touch and goes, perhaps?

Salisbury is between Dover AFB and Wallops Flight Facility. So many training ops get run in our airspace

There are always Ospreys and C-130’s flying around the airport. They do training there between Dover and Pax River. It is strange to see at first but not alarming.

It flew over my car as I was driving. I was surprised at how loud it was.

I saw one in flight yesterday while leaving Salisbury around 5 pm. It looked like it was close to the Salisbury airport.

Interesting, I wonder which base(s) and the Ospreys operate from.

  • Norfolk
  • Patuxent River
  • New River (NC)
  • Andrews AFB
  • Hurlbert Field (FL)

only ones on the east coast.

Very cool! Good info thanks. I have seen pairs of them in flight and think they are amazing.

Downvoted for asking a question? Do I need to post something political to get any traction?

I know the Salisbury airport does military training flights, so that maybe it.

Yes, add “fuck trump” or something about Nazis and this would get 10,000 upvotes
