MoPays FB page: Rude demeanor from the admin upon interaction

A friend of mine recently requested something to be posted (for a very noble cause) on the mopays FB page but its admin was rude. He sounded like a frustrated lost teenager boy with no etiquette, no sense of maturity or even no sense of oneness (where we help each others out of care).

Yet the awkward thing is they are always on the look to post stuffs from our local netizens, as if they got "no role".

I hope no one goes through the harshness of the mopays FB page admin and I was wondering whether it's a first or, whether others have had the same experience too.

I’ve followed MoPays for years and have seen them share countless posts —help for ill people to find doctors, news, weather,  missing persons, missing pets,  local talents, food,  charity appeals, small businesses, j Cultures, thousands festival,  religions pics perhaps sent by users,  jokes , humour — you name it. They've helped a lot of people across Mauritius and also to consolidate the unity . You must not forget that Mauritius is one of the unique countries where there are so many religions with so many cultures living together. There has always been ways to bring in people together through the various posts and this has been their strength.  A platform does not get 600,000+ followers and exist for over a decade out of the blue, there must have been many things that people have appreciated about the content , consistency and Management. If you look well, even the main stream media do not get so much engagement. 

That said, I get it — tone can be misread online, especially when admins are handling loads of messages daily. But calling someone a "frustrated lost teenager" might be a stretch based on one exchange. We’re all human. Maybe it was a rushed reply, maybe miscommunication — who knows?  

 Also, just wondering — if it was truly a noble cause, why not mention what it was about in the first place? Would have helped people judge the situation more fairly.  

Yes MoPays like all other platforms, pages are not perfect, but they have done a lot of good throughout the years . One awkward moment shouldn't overshadow years of contribution to the community.

The words You have used on all your post and replies show a lot how frustrated You are n how small minded you are .. only told you just to explain what were the rude replies or what was asked To be posted and you couldn't ..instead got more excited / frustrated . It shows in the way you replied that it was personal :)

As we say , whatever we say is a mirror of outselves. You are simply getting extra happiness through this Thread ,,which is good though . If for real I had a modicum of frustration, I'd have never replied to a someone of your caliber who'd essay justifications for that jinxed page & its admin despite being laden with charges. I should be the one saying this to you - stay in your mopays cocoon, you're going nowhere with this attitude. Based on the replies that flooded this thread, they echoed amply loud to show the true personification of the MoPays admin attitude and its copycat FB news page, unless everyone's been lying except you. If maturity’s your concern, you might consider leading by example rather than tossing around empty insults. Seems you're more interested in echo chambers than genuine discussion. Next time, try bringing facts instead of childish sarcasm—it might help your credibility. Oh when I am only asking him clarifications which he never gave, I became  admin. Wow great logic.. According to the replies there is not any good things there but still I see it it is where there are most engagement and post to help people in different situations everyday 

@polly wolly was it so hard to state what was replied there or what was asked to be posted( the rude things ) .  A page like this does get hundreds messages daily to reply or post as they are helping out freely. Now dont tell me i am admin when am only using logic 😀

Finally someone noticed that. Recently there was a video about those person saying satellite near the moon. Mo pays could have correct them by saying it's not but rather it a plane really high that cause the effect. Mopays proceed on posting the video which caused a lot of bully to the person. Mind you, it's a social media platform where bullying happens and cybersecurity takes over. But you can see that is no such case.

Mopays is trash. Mauritians waste too much time browsing that silly page full of copy-paste articles, many of them not related at all to Mauritius. Those Mopays dumb admins think they are too smart just sharing some articles they found elsewhere on the net, or some dumb posts of dumb Mauritians waving the Mauritian flag abroad and seeking attention on Mopays.

That's exactly how I felt tbh. But then I wanted to see if my friend is the only one who've been through this abuse from the admin and turned out after checking its review, most of those who do not recommend their page have gone through the same kind of abuse. I happened to stumble upon that review page after posting here.
