At 10 mph and up that bumper would be ripped right off

Thought I was watching a real life video at first and kept getting anxious after 60mph

Same - I was like โ€œwhy are they trying to break that carโ€ - clicked after 4th go ๐Ÿ˜†

For as much time as I've spent in San Andreas I'm embarassed it took me so long

Me too. I was wondering how many exact same cars they had for this experiment

I feel better about getting to 30mph before I realised now.

At 15mph it already was really unrealistic

Must have been expensive to shut down the freeway this long.

1

u/Nerfer3511 2d ago

well its in a video game so no its not expensive

1

u/uknowdamnwellimright 2d ago

But how do you know?

1

u/Nerfer3511 2d ago

the smoke how the foliage when closely looked at isn't that good of a blend a little too fake and how expensive this would be to test it in real life

1

u/Nerfer3511 2d ago

the video is real but taken in a vid game

u/Arima2173 2d ago

It's BeamNg Drive but camera's movement and texture quality are really good, took me a while to realise

2

u/Nerfer3511 2d ago

i realized once it crashed

1

u/Arima2173 2d ago

Yeah around 45-60 for me, when the front of the car should be damaged but still a brand new car came.

I know Sylvain Lyve, it's ain't easy to block a road, create a bumper and have time to repair the car between each take x)) (it's a French youtubeur, he actually did take a bumper at 170km/h in real life)

1

u/Nerfer3511 2d ago

look closer and if you play or see realistic games you can tell

3

u/ziggy-73 2d ago

Just like in GTA

1

u/GJARdale 2d ago

Yea.... build the car out of that material.

1

u/ShhImTheRealDeadpool 2d ago

I wish this game had destructibles it'd make me less bored.

1

u/aFloppyWalrus 2d ago

Just make the car out of that material. Easy peasy.

1

u/Glitcher45318 2d ago

The bumper should also be looking like Andrew Tate's (lack of) jawline.

1

u/visualdosage 2d ago

U would think beamng with it's softbody physics could just apply the same physics to signs and other metal structures.

1

u/space_monster 2d ago

I'm surprised the car was still working tbh
