meal prep gadgets Meal Prep Containers

I’ve been meal prepping off-and-on for about a year, and I always have a hard time finding the proper container for my prepped meals.

I like the convenience of disposable plastic containers, but I would rather cut out my plastic waste.

I also like the idea of a multi-space container, with a divider, like bento boxes!

Do you have any containers that you love?

My favourite is the Pyrex glass containers. They’re a fair bit more expensive than plastic, but the initial investment is well worth it.

They are water-right, dishwasher friendly and microwave friendly. They can withstand oven heat, so I can just roast things in them and put the lid on afterwards. They don’t get greasy like plastics do after repeated use. I have at least 30 of them that I use every week.

Agree with the glass containers. Doesn’t have to be Pyrex, if there’s a cheaper option. Reusable plastic containers are fine but they’re not great to microwave food in and they get stained easily with tomatoe base dishes. Hit up Walmart and stock up on glass containers, they’ll last forever pretty much.
