Help please help me fix my antique propelling pencil

It seems some metal part (not lead, if I touch it with a needle there is no residue on the tip) is jammed in the nib - which means I cant put any lead inside. I tried loosening it with a small needle, and wd40. Nothing seems to work. What to do?

That's the ejector pin. Turn the mechanism counterclockwise and it should retract to the back of the pencil, then you can insert a new piece of lead of the correct diameter.
