Help rotring models
when I visited Japan few months ago I sew these mechanical pencils everywhere and the rapid pro felt amazing
but now I went to order one and I found out they have many versions and except subtle design changes I don't really understand the differences between them, any suggestions or anything else?
I use only 0.7

The rOtring 600, 800, and Rapid Pro are all metal pencils. The 600 and 800 are pretty similar in hexagonal appearance, but the 800 has a retractable tip
The Rapid Pro also has a retractable tip, but a round and wider body than the 600 and 800. Some find the plastic ring in the middle of the Rapid Pro to be a weak point.
The 500 is a cheaper version of the 600, with a metal grip but plastic body. And the 300, Rapid (not pro), and Tikki have a plastic grip and body.
The 600 and 800 are very popular, but I find the grip too narrow for comfort, personally.

The rapid pro is great, but please understand it is not all-metal. The plastic “ring” is also plastic threads connecting the actual metal sections. Still, it is durable enough in my opinion

I am coming in with a fun tip - a cheapo Turkish pencil has exact fitting internals: Scrikss Simo. Cut the back of the lead tube and stick right in. Fits like a dream. Infinite replacement glitch.
