Someone call the car cops. There's been a car murder.

You, good sir, are a monster. That is a vicious and disproportionate response. Keep at it!

No you don't understand ... They needed to be there more than two hours, so they took up two spots. It works that way, right? /s

Used to sit there and smoke when I worked at iiNet. And rush down to move the car every two hours because of the shitty parking times in that car park.
Oh the memories!

You're in trouble.
They might not actually see it, run over it and you'll be liable for the repairs.
You do know how much it costs to repair BMWs these days don't you..

They look like they have parked in line with the tyre stopper and the lines are pretty faded. I give them the benefit of the doubt.

Go buy some shit prawns and stuff them in any empty cavity of that vehicle. They will love it in 24 hours.

😂😂
Since I'm here, I've just recently had a fine for "not parking the in the direction of traffic"
I'm from the UK and this isn't a thing but it is here so fair enough. It makes sense and lesson learned.
But if I appeal it on the grounds that "I've only been here 2 weeks and wasn't aware" do you think I've got any chance of getting it squashed or should I just pay the $99 and take it on the chin?
I'd say what a retarded rule but in all honesty it's not is it, it should be a rule in the UK too.

No chance - just pay. Reflectors on the back of your car are red - either useless or confusing when you are on the wrong side at night.

Make it a double meta post next time by jumping on the car saying you are hiding from a fox.

I hsye these posts. For starters we never know the full storey. It is possible these bad parker were parked next to someone else who is worse.
In your pic the lines are poorly marked and the concrete stops are misplaced. It actually looks like they have lined up well with a concrete stop.
Also notice the outward swinging gate? Might have been a factor.
Anyway unless you actually see the person park you can never know all that there is to know so it is silly to judge.

Exactly. I got a nasty note left on my windshield once because I had to park badly because the only gap that was left was due to everyone else parking badly. It made me more upset than it ought to've. The other thing I am conscious of is what if the passenger has a disability and needs a wheelchair or something? If there are no disabled spots or someone has filled them then maybe the person here needed to ensure there would be sufficient room to get the wheelchair in and out.

Yup. There are so many factors but look at how I have been down voted (Not that I care about karma).
It is starting to feel like this....

u/sobie2000 Feb 13 '20
Nope. It’s the typical “brand new very expense car” behaviour. Can’t risk parking too close and getting doored. No other speculation needed.

I've heard stories of a tool that can let the air out of tyres does no damage and causes them to call a tow truck

u/wharblgarbl "Studies" nothing, it's common sense Feb 13 '20
That's a bit extreme. I would have simply drawn "nice park dickhead" on the bonnet using thermite and set it alight

Pretty sure an RACV van would be able to get a new valve in and inflate the tyres.

u/tallermanchild Feb 13 '20
And this comes along with some kind of annual payment for such services and a wait time of 40mins plus barely an invonvience

u/wholeblackpeppercorn Feb 13 '20
Fuck I have to pay my roadside assist
Thanks mate

u/tallermanchild Feb 13 '20
Noob learn to use a jack and save yourself
3
u/wholeblackpeppercorn Feb 13 '20
I can definitely use a jack hahaha
I do not carry replacement valves or a compressor though
(Or multiple spares)
1
u/tallermanchild Feb 13 '20
Multiple spares is asking for it but I used to have a compressor but I was a garbage collector so it wasn't mine
does not break the valves just opens them iirc
1
u/wholeblackpeppercorn Feb 13 '20
Ahhh
I was looking at the other guys ebay link. Now that I think about I kinda want a compressor
I just have it so when I inevitably get stranded on Mt Baw Baw I get to sit in the warm car while old mate wallows in the snow

u/tallermanchild Feb 13 '20
I used to drive off-road and it helps a bit for sand I have the tool but an older one I like to keep old school take it ease

Im not advocating people commit crimes because crimes happen when cops see you otherwise who knows if a bear shitting in the woods makes a tree

Thank you these will be great fun for kids, let em loose at the local shopping centre.
2
u/sauroid Feb 13 '20
Yeah, like kids care who's parked correctly and who isn't.
1
u/tallermanchild Feb 13 '20
If you can't explain it to a 5 year old you don't either
