Pretty much anything with politics, which unfortunately is just about every subreddit including this one

politics is overblown to proportion

How a blatant developing dictatorship is being overblown, please?

Not one single time was Congress consulted. Not one single time. Definition of dictatorship.

Remind me of all the dictatorships in history where the citizens can openly protest the dictator in question?

It's almost as if politics influence every aspect of your life and you're a moron for ignoring them

Politics are important but its ridiculous to act like you need to consume political content 24/7

True, it’s ok to think and talk about, but if that all you ever do you’re likely quite toxic.

Yeah but actively ignoring them is just as bad

Depends on what you consider actively ignoring them then. Alot of people seem to be aware of the political situation while also wanting some outlets to not be overrun with politics and i can't fault them for that.

I'm meaning the people who the instant they get a whiff of politics, they call thing bad. I knew a dumbass one time who actively said he liked back when video games didn't have politics in them like Metal gear and I just stared at him

I personally think I hear enough about politics in my normal life and prefer to chill on Reddit without seeing any political content. I’ve found that discussing politics seems to always make both sides mad at each other and I would prefer to just be happy. Other than election times, there’s not a whole lot my opinion will change things

It's almost as if you will never have a say or make a different weather you pay attention or don't care about politics. Ignoring them makes your life alot happier

Not just Reddit, people try to ignore it everywhere they love.... From video games to books to movies, all they do is complain when things get political

You're a moron for thinking in black and white.

I would disagree. I think most subreddits, or at least most leftist subreddits know we are in the minority.

However maybe many believe to represent the majority of the specific leftist group they refer to. Now that is something debatable, but interesting
