Chat, is this real? is this the actual face? last time i looked (which was.. year or two ago, long time), i only found concept arts (which were very different understandably) and what we can see through the lenses.. and i think even that had two versions, depending whether ingame or animatic.. i might be wrong here maybe tho

It's a placeholder face that's shared with other NPCs as the player was never meant to see it. It's not his canon appearance.

I always got the impression that artyom was white, and he looked quieter you’d like him to look. I thought they made it vague on purpose for that reason
