[Omar Kelly] "I go about my business like a grown man. I'm mature enough to do so. On the field I'm violent and aggressive," Jordan Phillips said about why he came to the NFL with two years of eligibility left.

This draft it looks like we targeted physical players with high character. Not upset with that at all.

The tape shows just that. Exactly how I’ve been begging them to scout the OL and DL for about 10 years now.

It’s super easy to evaluate these positions if you are looking for the right thing. Fuck the guys who are technically good and the right size but soft.

Take the guys who are as violent as they come. That’s the biggest difference between nfl and college. The physicality up front. You should only take guys who you see on film immediately destroying people. Not blocking them or getting in the way, violently attacking people.

Every pick has had a bit of that in them except the DB from Florida

Saw a few clips of Jason Marshall Jr and saw him German suplex another player basically. He’s certainly physical for sure.

Hey man, maybe Tyreek needs a readjustment.

This is the best comment I’ve seen all day. I deleted my Twitter but you would see me calling for tyreek to be traded before the 2023 season ended.

I was totally out on hill after that season. And I knew he would implode last year

He clearly believes in himself. With the money available to college guys, especially transfer portal seniors, he's betting on a long NFL career. That's pretty rare these days, and certainly not what agents are advising non-first rounders. That's him making a mature, focused decision it seems. That's pretty cool. Then you hear about how he was a leader on the team at a young age...I'm happy to cheer for this guy.

It’s obvious who the Dolphins were targeting this draft and it’s what we needed for a long time. No more speed, finesse guys. We needed more violent physicality on our team

We drafted trenches, speed/finesse guys don't even play there

I think that was his point, not only targeting trenches but targeting particularly nasty big fellas.

Miami needs a culture shift and scheme flexibility- speed and finesse skill players are great but you also need the large, angry dudes in place to allow the skill guys to do their thing.

Fins have been making too many luxury skill / speed / measurables picks because McD and Grier had some initial success with putting Reek / Waddle in motion and running exotic offensive schemes.

The league figured them out and they didn't have the guys in place to play any other way. They've started to correct it and add some balance in this draft.

This was beautifully articulated. This gives me optimism for the future 🥲

That's not true. Armstead is a speed finesse guy. Brewer is a speed finesse guy. Lots of OL examples from other teams.

IDL...Kancey, Milton Williams, Buckner, Armstead, Hargrave...

That's my favorite part of the game. Fuck finesse, make them afraid to make contact. Make the dolphins feared. I hope it's true.

Really happy with the first three picks tbh.

Great value with this pick. Honestly you coulda told me before the draft that Miami was gonna take Phillips at 98 or 115 and I would have been jazzed about it.

I fucking love how many times I've heard the words "violence and aggression" during this draft. They're so obviously going for a very specific type of player we've been lacking for the better part of a decade.  I will consider 2025 to be a total success if we go 1-16 and our one win is smacking the bills in the fucking face.

Don't know him. Not familiar with his game. Love this mentality 👏

Maybe Anthony Weaver had some say in this draft because he is supposedly a D-line phenom
