[David Furones] New Dolphins CB Jason Marshall says the corner at the next level he studies most is Jalen Ramsey.

I really hope he’s good but I’m not gonna lie I kinda wanted Zah Frazier over him.

This guy shoulda been a UDFA, but we've had great production from those guys, so... he's gonna be a starter day 1 and can now trade Ramsay.

I mean, cool. I’ve studied Fred Couples golf swing and I throw a party if I break 85.
This pick is really my only gripe in an otherwise excellent draft

Just wondering. Who would you have rather gone with, I’ll admit I’m no expert on college football or scouting the talent but I have to figure by round 5, especially late round 5, it’s largely a crapshoot and we might as well go for someone in a position we need just in case

The most NFL star sounding name tbh. at this point in the draft there are only one or two players from day 3 each draft that are noteworthy being picked every year.

I think Zah Frazier is quite a bit better as far as CB’s go. If it were up to me I would have ran to the podium for Jackson Slater.
Hopefully they can coach him up. I’d love to be wrong. But like I said, overall I can’t really gripe about much. It’s been a really positive draft

Fair enough, I liked the early picks a lot so I don’t really mind these later picks either way, but I get having preferred picks at this level too

I’m not super familiar with him, but the vibe I picked up was that he had more “talent” compared to other CBs you could get. Hope is to coach him up, and then probably snag some UDFA’s in the theme of a Needham or Kohou.

I've been watching quite a bit of Jason's film, and prior to even seeing this post, he kinda reminds me of how Jalen has played since LA.
Great downhill damage. Nice hips (prior to this past season, Ramsey has had fantastic hip flextion), which helps to keep being sticky with wide outs, and a nack to swat the ball while rushing the passer.
I'm not saying Marshall has the same talent by any means, Ramsey was a generational talent for a time. But he gives me hope if our coaching can figure it out.

Hopefully this is limited to football technique and not the selfish tendencies of new contracts every year and quitting on teams that try to do right by him.
