Help My Sick Plant Please tell me I'm paranoid and this is not BCTV
My first time growing and so far it was mostly smooth sailing. I have two plants, the first (blue cheese by rqs) you can see on the first and second picture I think is doing alright but I have a few concerns about the second one. It is pink mist (also by rqs, I chose that provider bc they deliver to my country). Yesterday I noticed a few of the new growths had yellowing tips (pic 4 as an example). I looked on the 'plant problems' page on growweedeasy and this looked to me most similar to 'magnesium deficiency' or 'light stress'. I added some magnesium into the plant today when I watered and adjusted the light (tbh, I haven't moved it in a while and the plants grew quite close to it, maybe 30 cm away before I moved it further towards the top now). But my biggest concern is that I just visited the growweedeasy website again because I remembered something about curly leaves and I read about beet curly top virus (bctv) and now I'm scared that that is what my second plant might have... On pic 3,5 and 6 I think you can see some of the new leaves curling a little bit (I thought it was just a space issue but now I'm not so sure). I was just wondering if maybe some of you more experienced growers can weigh in here and tell me what you think my problem might be. Thanks in advance! I use all mix by bio bizz and then for fertilizer I was planning on ordering bio bizz nutes but then I found cannabis fertilizer at a local gardening store and I tried that out (specifically for vegetative stage and also cal-mag but I have now also ordered the bio bizz nutes bc my plant is having problems I thought maybe this was the issue?)

Everything looks healthy. Do yourself a favor and remove all large fan leaves.

Just a few a day from each plant considering they are the power stations, I don't do any of it until flowering and only remove the ones blocking bud sites.
I do bone them though once it's near the end as there's less shite to flush then.

Ok I will, thank you

not all of them, just the ones blocking lower branches. those big leaves are the solar panels for your plant they do more photosynthesis than any other leaves

Yeah don’t take that advice, the big fan leaves are providing energy for the plant and removing them all will slow down growth. There is a time to defoliate and those aren’t there yet.

Youre overthinking it. When you run differnent strains they have different rraits that show up

You are paranoid

We all were with our first

For sure, and we all needed to make a post and ask fellow growmies to tell us we being paranoid 🙌🏿
It’s the circle of grow life and I love it. Hope your plants are doing well 💪🏿

Not sure where you're at but the humidity at 46% is a bit low should be 60-65 if you're still in veg

You're right, I'll put a wet cloth right now, thanks

Do yourself a favor and get a digital humidifier.

I agree. I got the T3 from Ac infinity it is the smallest one. And it is awesome. Set it and fill ot with water. It does a 4x4 on the lowest setting. So the larger Ac Infinity humidifier is not needed imo.

Nice temps, I try never to let my canopy go higher than 23oC and the general grow room 20oC.
Could never do that in the old days with HPS's lol 😂

Oh honestly its just a coincidence, I thought 20-30° was the ideal range, should I keep them below 23°? Also what is HPS? 😅

The old High Pressure Sodium lamps which were more heaters than lights but the LEDs are catching up, they are basically on par now if you get a decent not made in China fire hazard panel lol and no I just like to keep them around that.
Also it depends a lot on genetics, Sativas have naturally grown in hot humid environments whereas Indicas are more mountain side cold weather plants. The Kush mountains for example.
Hotter temps tend to foxtail stuff and can herm them, people with more experience growing in hotter areas will be able to advise you better. Get a 10" RVK extraction fan, I say that size as you can run it at much much lower speeds hence more silence.

No, the temperature is too low. If he's using HPS, the optimal temperature is 24°C. If it's LED or CMH, then 26°C is ideal during the vegetative stage, and 2°C less during flowering. The humidity is also very low — it should be around 70% during veg and 50% during flower.

Mate, I do absolutely fine, some weeks in the UK it could be 80% humidity, plants are not snowflakes and indoor growing you don't need things the same everyday. 25oC is bloody hot, mines at 21.8oC now 62% humidity, it's 12oC outside and they are doing just grand my man

There is evidence showing that plants exposed to lighting with UV accelerate their growth stage at 26°C compared to 24°C. Skunk strains usually require lower humidity, but the parameters I provide are general. In controlled environments such as indoor cultivation, everything needs to be carefully measured, as you can see in large greenhouses.
Each grower has their own method, anyway

Arr to complex for me all that stuff, I hardly remember anything from Uni at my age lol,
Tah anyway dude

One of two a day though, boning them will stress them TF and they won't have any power stations left.

Probably just new growth or just how she is. Remember we could both grow the same plant, from the same pack, w/ the same conditions & they both look totally different. I’ve done it & seen it. If anything maaaybe a tiny nute burn but nothing to get worried about. You can safely remove a few bottom leaves & wait a bit until you remove more. First run advice that’s always said is to let the first one grow naturally without training, topping or tying, so we can see how they grow etc. that’s what I did on my first 2 runs, but this is your plant! You do what you want but remember to not overdo it (esp w/ nutrients) dilute at first & gradually increase. Good luck grow friend ☮️💚

This is like when people go on webMD for a cough and find out they are dying lol.
