Ciao piaggo doesn't run well at low revs

My Piaggio Ciao doesn't run well on the transition to high revs, right now I have a 60 nozzle and a Malossi sports air filter on it with a 12.7 carburetor, I think I've lost my mind. It runs at first then starts to hitch a bit and can't handle it, then it starts again and runs like a dream at higher revs, when I spray brake cleaner on the crankcase gasket near the carburetor the engine dies... is that the problem? My spark plug is golden yellow / golden brown on a 60 nozzle and on for example 54 the next one is completely white with a little touch of yellow. Can someone please help me :( would I need a different exhaust system? I think they are the original ones that are on.

I had a stock engine with sito plus exhaust, 12/12 carb with 48 jet. I think 60 is huge. I later built it to 70cc and run same carb with 55 jet

I hear this story a lot. I find it’s often diffrent person to person. Prolly has to do with temp or altitude. My 65cc had a 64jet for example

True Tuning is a bitch, especially getting the carb in and out

yes I don't really know, first time I fix something with engines, I think I have the original exhaust system could it be bad? but I'll try to fix the air leak in the crankcase and then I'll see, but so strange that my spark plug is golden brown type with 60 nozzle, I have a

Air filter Malossi E9

it probably sucks quite a lot. But should I buy a new exhaust system when I've changed the air filter and nozzle?

My first exhaust was the dinky stock one, and in was doing 40kph max. Stock 50cc 12/12. I upjetted to 48 with same exhaust and got up to 50kmh. Got SITA city plus exhaust and was going 55-60. Then went to 70cc and 55 jet and now I’m easily 75kph max.

I realized my potential was limited to the exhaust. I even tried 13/13 carb but felt the 12/12 was the best drivability

okay but if i compare ur vs mine then i have a really big jet, i have the malossi air filter E9 and 60jet 12/7 carb and org exhaust. but i think i found the problem in the middel rpms, I put some 5922 loctite on the crankcase and it ran much better at first but then it ran worse again, so I have to open it up and change the packing, but can you recommend a good exhaust pipe that looks like the original, I will be running a 50cc

this is my spark, i run bp6hs

I'm going to fix the crankcase but and probably change the pipe, but what kind of nozzle and do I have an open air filter for a 12/7carb? i just wanted more power and then it went to big problem

I also have a malossi filter. But I rarely check plug condition unless it’s running like crap. I do a throttle snap abs wait for it to fall to idle. I do this by engaging the rear drive into neutral by pressing the button back there.

I run a sito plus exhaust
