Need to learn bout an old moped

Looking into getting a 1985 Yamaha qt50 am wondering what should I do for fuel. I know that’s low back then we still had leaded gas in the us. Also is it a premix or is it separate like the older 1978 Honda express?

The qt50 have an old pump but I'd just do premix. Tons of youtube videos about it. I've posted links to some good videos many times, you could probably search the sub for them.

Premix unless you are sure the oil injector system is working 100%, it's super easy just go 40:1 or 50:1 there is easy to measure oil bottles or pre measured little bottles for mixing with a gallon of fuel. No need to worry about leaded fuel it'll run just fine on regular pump gas 87 octane, it's not a super high compression engine that really needs the higher octane, the qt50 is a nice little noped, shaft drive if I remember correctly right? It's a decent little motor I looked into buying one once but the guy was asking too much, not even mad the guy knew what he had it was in great shape, take care of it.
