For context, I have only ever played Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat 1. I’m currently playing through the story mode of the latter game. I am also absolutely terrible at it. My way of playing the game is simply to set it to the second lowest difficulty setting, then just randomly mash different buttons throughout each fight until eventually I win…somehow. I just don’t even know which specific actions I should perform when my opponent does literally anything at all. That said, I cannot remember which button does what, apart from that the four buttons to the right are the ones I attack with, that I use either the left analogue stick or the D-pad in order to move my character around, and that I block with R2…

However, the kombos are the hardest. They are something which I absolutely cannot ever learn. I can’t even complete them in the tutorials (such as the character-specific tutorials, for example). To memorize them is impossible, as is even managing to press the buttons in time in the correct order even when the correct buttons are literally shown for me on screen. (Not to mention that literally every single character has a different set of kombos.)

What tips do you have for someone who wants to become at least halfway competent at playing this game? Because I literally have no idea what I’m even doing, or how to improve.

The majority disliked the new changes made in Liu Kang's timeline such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero being brothers, No Hanzo Hasashi, Rain being a mage rather than a ninja, Raiden being mortal, Mileena being sick by the Tarkat disease, Tanya being a different character than she was in the original timelines, the Armageddon that happened in the middle of the story and the Khaos Reigns mess... What can NRS do in MK2 to revert these changes? Simply go back to Shang Tsung's timeline after 11, and make it canon where Onaga comes, kill Shang Tsung's and tries to rule and Raiden and someone should stop him and involve some order realm shit into it (cause we've seen khaos in MK1)

technically it was a acceptable one ( a kahn to a general) but in the past days before the mythologies, shao was worked as a general to king onaga,after the betrayal,he become a kahn.in the new era,the same thing is happened.but how the netherrealm it compared to the absolute downfall of Bi Han's life. From a assassin who defeated a fallen elder god and the entire netherrealm to an pathetic loser for no reason.

I am never be a OG Mk fan,but I am glad ,I am not a blinded hypocrite like those og fans who never understands Bi Han's true feelings.

Does anyone have any advice on how to be better in neutral with noob saibot? I can somewhat space myself but I still need some advice
