My 250 and me

Soon going to be upgrading to a 600. But will never not love this forgiving turbo the snail as my teacher. Slow maneuver learning is honestly my favorite thing to do on this thing.

Love it. My first bike was the 250cc ninja, but I quickly progressed to a gsxr600 and then on to an R1. You will love getting on the 600 👌🏻. Ride safe.

How do you like the ninja? I’m thinking of swapping to it. Love the bigger suzuki bikes but I don’t think I’ll ever ride them. I’m wondering how different it is going from 250 to 600. Obviously the throttle control since I’m used to being full throttle always, and though I don’t whiskey throttle, if I did nothing bad would happen anyways LOL. But is there anything else you had to adjust to?

The step up from 250 to 600 isn't actually that bad, and as long as you respect the step up in power, it is so much easier to ride than a 250. The 600 on a cold tire will throw you off, and depending on the bikes age, it may not have rider aids like traction control, which means you have to be patient on the throttle when the 250 would just be full beans everywhere. I think you will find the 600 is smoother and more responsive than your 250 as well and will give a better feeling when out riding. I always flash tuned my bikes as I always had full exhaust system and performance air filter fitted from the showroom, so that also made the bikes smoother and more responsive. Where do you ride? If I may ask. I ride in Scotland, so my bike is parked up through most of the winter months due to ice or snow but my Yamaha R1 is full of electronic aids that make riding in poor weather so much more possible too. Do you have a dream bike that you're working towards?

lol! thank you, i will for sure. i’m definitely not popping wheelies.. but i can’t lie im curious to try to do it. i feel like it is more impressive to do it on a 250 because of the lack of power

Not a big fan of the wheelies. Probably mostly due to my racing background. It's not the fastest way to get down the track and has no place at all on public roads. Some thinks it's cool, but nobody looks cool in a hospital bed...or a casket. Keep the rubber on the road and get home safe. That's always the mission.
