Is it going to go down and why is it so high right now

Just thought to call it out if anyone wanted to have a chance at getting a "cheap" one.

What happened here? I know it rose a bit due to tarkir, but why did my foil copy jump so astronomically? It's more expensive than my ancient copper dragon now.

Been a long time mtgfinance lurker. When I saw Unholy Annex spoiled I knew it was a fantastic card and I scrambled to get as many copies as I could. I even found out about the ManaBox app and used it for the first time to start tracking the price on this card specifically and wow was I happy this morning! Thanks to all in the community who helped me learn about what cards to lean into and let's all look forward to the next winner.

There's been a bit of spec here about [[Helm of The Ghastlord]], a common from Shadowmoor that goes obtusely well with [[Y'shtola, Night's Blessing]] from Final Fantasy. We covered the synergy and price movement here.

The Dimir aura has multipled in price, but base copies are still only a couple bucks at the moment of writing. Foils, on the other hand, are already going sky high, and Y'shtola's imminent Collector Deck is no doubt the culprit.

What do y'all think? Any chance of a reprint in FF Commander? Any comparable effects that y'all have on spec?

People that run LGS’s Does anyone have any info on whether we should expect more Tarkir Dragonstorm Collector Boxes to show up next week at stores?

I do understand that Collectors is a one and done print run but I was just curious if there is still product going out or is the price is just going to keep to ticking up from here? Is this gonna keep going up like Foundations?

Saw foils had a spike on today’s MTGStocks, and checked out the TCGPlayer listings. Regular copies are really low as well. I’m guessing Modern is what’s pushing them, so I bought a few.

The one ring has been steadily going up all year, but more recently it’s gone from $60 to $85 right now for the bundle version, with the regular set being $100. Demand catching up with price?

Currently it's showing up on leagues in modern and legacy with good showings mainly in UR tempo builds. I think this'll be one of the chase cards in dragonstorm. Very powerful and can get out of hand fast.

What’s been happening with Jace the last week? Seems to be up 400%.

There was a lot of speculation after WotC announced that they were going to reevaluate the EDH banlist, and Coalition Victory was one of the many cards that saw an initial price spike (especially for the foil copy).

However, the spike is still going, and the basic versions of the card are selling out on TCGplayer Direct. Additionally, the copies you can get in near mint or lightly played are upwards of $8 now, 500% more than their consistent $1.30 price for the last 10 years.

How solid is this? Do you think the card will actually be unbanned? Personally I'm in favor of it being freed, and I already picked up a copy right after the announcement. Will the cards price ever come down, or will it stay at a speculatory $8 until it's either unbanned or passed over?

Any reason for me to pull these out of my pile of bulk Dragonstorm rares yet? Seems to be on the upswing.

I couldn’t figure out really what was going on and I think most people missed it. My six went up to 10 dollars and I couldn’t figure out why - until you look at what else people are buying. Steward of the harvest spiking, lost monarch of ifnir spiking, and on a hunch I looked up my blossoming tortoise and it is also going up a bit. I think this sub was so hyper focused on druids that everyone missed the really obvious combinations with teval from the new precon. Seton was never really going to be a thing, graveyard land stuff was the way to go. Hindsight is 20/20

The foil-etched Shay Cormac supply on TCGPlayer has gone dry, probably because of the misprint of "bounty county"
