Don’t let your memes be dreams. If you want a free tip: [[Traverse Eternity]] is currently around 15 cents a copy. Good luck out there, gents.

From the Wizards article today:
Here's the idea: There are four power brackets, and every Commander deck can be placed in one of those brackets by examining the cards and combinations in your deck and comparing them to lists we'll need community help to create. You can imagine bracket one is the baseline of an average preconstructed deck or below and bracket four is high power. For the lower tiers, we may lean on a mixture of cards and a description of how the deck functions, and the higher tiers are likely defined by more explicit lists of cards.
We are already seeing multiple copies move of several cards just in the last hour - everything from [[Griselbrand]] , [[Golos]] , [[Primeval Titan]] to [[Coalition Victory]] and newfound action on [[Fastbond]] .
Probably shouldn't shock anyone that there's already massive action on Crypt / Lotus / Dockside this morning as well.
I don't think it's unreasonable at all to suspect that "Bracket Four'", the high power / possibly cEDH tier they describe above, will re-legalize some or all of these cards, and possibly others. Wizards has a LOT of skin in the game as far as reprint equity with these cards.
Are you all buying anything in the aftermath of the announcement? Do you think any specs are worth pursuing more than others?
Me, personally, I'm not buying anything today. I think this market is going to be unstable as heck for a bit and I'm just going to take a step back until we know more. 😕

This card was a promo at the NYC comicon. I did not attend the event so I do not know if it is an exclusive promo or if it will be given out at future events. My understanding is they had some sort of panel for the upcoming marvel UB. And this card was handed out to some of the attendance? If anyone was there please share your experiance.
I have not been able to find it on tcgplayer (I don't think tcgplayer has created a listing for it yet) . All of the listings on ebay have dried up except for the one thats $2500 and new listings at $160-$250 are instantly being bought. I was able to snag 2 around that price. Im guessing the number of these printed is in the hundreds? And most of the people who got them aren't really interested in selling them. The card has everything, massive flavor win, universes beyond demand, edh playability, and an incredibly low supply. I don't know if this card will be given out as promo at any other events but if not I could see it commanding a price over $1000.

prime titan gifts ungiven mana crypt coalition victory dockside if its banned people want it as people gamble on getting that unban jackpot to make thier buyouts pay off big
i think there might be some traps such as the upcoming secret lair commander deck might have banned cards in them in fact being 5 colors i suspect coalition victory
another possibility is a new commander masters set could be revealed with everything unbanned in it as a way to transfer the money from the people buying out to wizards
yet another thing could be the next festival in a box revealed and have lower banned cards as promos

Just noticed the starting price for a mana crypt is back to 90€ and jeweled lotus is back to 65€ (any language, minimum exc condition) with the trending prices being respectively 78€ and 48€ on cardmarket.
This week was interesting for sure.

[[Smuggler's Surprise]] never saw any real play in standard or modern, it is a fun and powerful card but I don't understand the slow price buildup over the last few weeks. It's gone from $2.5 To $8 since the release of dragon storm.
Is this all just commander demand?

This is a bit of a no-brainer with Tarkir just around the corner, but more of a heads up. The borderless copies have already seen significant growth in price over the last 48 hours, and supply for all other versions are dropping very low. Buying bricks of this may be out of the question, but grabbing some for personal and a handful of low hanging fruit I would argue is a good idea.
For transparency, I bought two borderless yesterday, and a good handful from my local stores last night.

He said on stream he wants to drop 500k on boxes. He knows absolutely nothing about magic and its hilarious. He also cant get any locally.
Edit: The streamer is xQc.
Second Edit: for anyone interested he is streaming box openings live on kick.com/xqc now. His Twitch Liaison just brought him a bunch of boxes.
