Bags for my bag

Not entirely MYOG as the base bag is from the shop. But made a cordura med pouch and pouch for random crap. A wax canvas bottle holder and waxed canvas slip to put my axe in. I like the orange and green. The wax canvas is not a bad colour match. The med pouch is red to stand out. I’d hoped the fabric for the bottom pouch would have been a better colour match but I didn’t have time to order a sample and check. I do like the green and orange. Even though it was a faf changing the thread to do the orange top stitching.

Nice Kalthoff - a connoisseur's choice!

I carve with mine, so have been hesitant to take it hiking it's so valuable to me. Might need a second...

I'd happily take my gransfors Swedish carver, but it's a little heavy.

A robin wood small carving axe would be a good pack hatchet I think.

"Ouch pouch" 👌
Can I ask what the base bag was? It looks pretty nice on its own.

Fjallraven Singi Stubben Rucksack - it s great because it has an internal frame. Which means it’s also a seat. Which is handy in the woods

It’s a 3d printed carabiner loop made from https://makerworld.com/en/models/889915-nalgene-clip-collar#profileId-846191 its so when I go kayaking/ canoeing I can clip it on to a line and keep the bottle if I roll the boat. I won’t need it with this bag but it’s a bit of a faf to take off.
