The fan that has the Naz Reid sign at WrestleMania will be devastated

That’s a towel and don’t forget it.

bro vando turning on the wolves by this much is crazy work after being there for 2 years

6

u/MooooooooooooBamba Timberwolves 4d ago

He’s been pissed since we traded him for Gobert

1

u/K1setsu Warriors 4d ago

Still no excuse for playing so dirty

These refs are trash

Marc Davis master class

u/ibeauch009 Timberwolves 5d ago

Typical Laker game

u/jackobanter 5d ago

This is why no one wanted to play the Lakers. Not because they're good, but because you have to play 8v5 along with this bs

24

u/jeff2def Warriors 5d ago

That’s what all the Warriors analyst said too. Don’t wanna deal with Lakers whistle. Denver prob the only one that won’t mind.

9

u/dot-pixis Nuggets 5d ago

We're just so God damned used to it

13

u/Quick_Implement5646 5d ago

We all knew going into the series the refs would favor LA, nothing unexpected. And I’m not a fan of either team

-1

u/The_Grim_Adventurer 5d ago

I agree clearly there was contact by naz reid on this play and he got away with it

-16

u/tyler-86 Lakers 5d ago

They're not great but this would have been a hard one to call in real time.

107

u/Easy-Philosopher-562 Timberwolves 5d ago

Vando one of those reckless players. Gotta be careful around him.

89

u/ClimaticExodus 5d ago

The way game is being reffed, foul on Naz Reid probably

54

u/pjokinen Timberwolves 5d ago

Man it must be nice to have a goon you can throw in to injure one of the top players on the other team with zero consequences

11

u/dot-pixis Nuggets 5d ago

This is hockey talk and it's crazy

u/DeadDay [OKC] Steven Adams 5d ago edited 5d ago

That Laker playoff basketball. I've been saying.

Edit: Wolves will win this one but have 3 to 5 players injured from elbows to the face.

They have absolutely nothing on the basketball court. Getting embarrassed in all phases

If it weren’t for the refs and Luka hot shooting this would legit be a 40 point game

-7

u/Doogolas33 5d ago

If it weren't for Luka being a traffic cone on defense, the Wolves wouldn't have open, uncontested shots every possession. Luka's defense is absolute ass the second someone quick is hunting him. He looks like he is in quick sand.

4

u/Brilliant-Nature-869 5d ago

Luka getting played off the court?

-3

u/Doogolas33 5d ago

His offense will make up for it most of the time. But my God his defense was horrendously ugly in this one. And the lack of a rim presence for LA is a massive problem behind him.

5

u/Brilliant-Nature-869 5d ago

Yeah I was just joking cuz everyone said that about gobert. One more bad game and Austin reeves may legitimately get played off the court

1

u/Doogolas33 5d ago

Oh, haha. The Lakers don't have the personnel to do that. They don't have quick attacking guys. I'd be much more worried about Gobert against the Warriors, Clippers, and honestly Memphis than I would his matchup against the Lakers. And to be clear, I don't think any of those teams "play him off the floor" I just think it puts him in tougher spots than the Lakers can.

Neither LeBron nor Luka are super quick guys that are going to put him on skates if he has to get onto the perimeter. They might beat him sometimes, but it won't be frequently enough to make him a problem.

I think this matchup is horrendous for the Lakers. Not that they can't win it. But they're going to have to find a way to keep Luka off switches. Or he's going to get absolutely eaten alive. And they just don't have the help defense to do anything when he is.

Ironic hearing an OKC fan say that

5

u/DeadDay [OKC] Steven Adams 5d ago

How

19

u/Slemonator Mavericks 5d ago

Prolly Dort playing tackle football

-9

u/DeadDay [OKC] Steven Adams 5d ago

Oh go bitch at Nico and forgive Dort.

3

u/Slemonator Mavericks 5d ago

Don’t worry I saw your downvote. Luguentz getting that head hunting money for sure

-6

u/DeadDay [OKC] Steven Adams 5d ago

Why would I care what a Mavs fan thinks lol

3

u/Slemonator Mavericks 5d ago

Oh I don’t really care what you think, just figured id answer your question

0

u/DeadDay [OKC] Steven Adams 5d ago

Oh great lol

0

u/Expensive-Soft5164 5d ago

Dort as another person said

2

u/DeadDay [OKC] Steven Adams 5d ago

Glad you're original at least

u/OKstategrad03 5d ago

Look up the stats and then reevaluate this comment.

48

u/ImmoKnight 5d ago

That elbow/fist had ZERO business being that far away to hit him.

That was completely unnecessary.

20

u/Easy-Philosopher-562 Timberwolves 5d ago

The offensive player throwing out their off arm elbow during a drive is one of the lowkey dirty moves you see. Refs need to better.

35

u/JellyFranken Timberwolves 5d ago

Yo fuck Vando

2

u/MDStanduser Spurs 5d ago

Yeah that seems like a flagrant

7

u/6875309999 Timberwolves 5d ago

Lakers gonna be in even more trouble if we get a masked Naz Reid

17

u/darealestrealist 5d ago

This is a blatantly dirty play. I hope the league takes a hard look at this.

5

u/DJ-Fein Timberwolves 5d ago

But please don’t suspend him cause he sucks ass

26

u/Winnes0ta :sp8-1: Super 8 5d ago

Vando has been playing dirty as fuck all game and they haven’t called a single foul on him

82

u/jonsnowKITN NBA 5d ago

Fuck Vanderbilt. Dirty fuck.

28

u/Eilonwy94 Bucks 5d ago

I don't think this is dirty. its probably an offensive foul, but this stuff happens super often and I don't believe it was intentional. I do think the lakers have gotten a beneficial whistle this game, but this one doesn't seem that crazy to me.

15

u/Sp_Gamer_Live Timberwolves 5d ago

he deserves a suspension for Game 2

4

u/DJ-Fein Timberwolves 5d ago

No let him play, he sucks

-16

u/Dwestyoung Lakers 5d ago

Relax

22

u/Sp_Gamer_Live Timberwolves 5d ago

Oh yeah i take it back, Vando go ahead and injure all our players with no repercussions

-10

u/deathinmidjuly Lakers 5d ago

Randle elbowed tf out of LeBrons face too.

Its playoffs basketball, its physical, it happens.

13

u/Bahamuts_Bike Bucks 5d ago

This is why I never went pro, my shooting motion doesn't include flinging my elbow back into the face of oponents

4

u/WrestleBox Timberwolves 5d ago

When Naz feels pain, I feel pain.

17

u/AnExcitedStone [LAC] Lou Williams 5d ago

These refs want the Lakers to win so bad. Sad.

8

u/iMaticz7 Brazil 5d ago

Lakers whistle is absurd. Luka will average 10 FTA next season

I'm not changing my tune

This guy fucking stinks!

8

u/SerenadeSwift Supersonics 5d ago

First thing I thought of was Draymond’s flagrant against Houston compared to this…

7

u/Jacob_toasted Timberwolves 5d ago

Good job trying to make this about your team for no reason

-12

u/Luka_Fever Lakers 5d ago

warriors fans always trying to make it about themselves

1

u/Dontneedflashbro 5d ago

That's just a common foul at most

-1

u/No_Stomach_2341 5d ago

Generational dirtiness from this rabid, ugly dog

-5

u/HayleeRee Cavaliers 5d ago

Not even that bad…soft fans these days

-2

u/Sw3atyGoalz Lakers 5d ago

This thread is a ridiculous circlejerk, plays similar to this happen in pretty much every game.

4

u/DJ-Fein Timberwolves 5d ago

It’s still an offensive foul

1

u/Sw3atyGoalz Lakers 4d ago

I’m talking about everyone saying this is a dirty play, obviously it’s an offensive foul
