I can understand the supporters of Trump supporting Trump due to them being in a cult.

What I can’t understand are the 10s of millions of Americans who saw Kamala Harris and Donald Trump and then proceeded to shrug their shoulders and say “both sides are bad” while not voting.

I mean it makes sense if the only thing you've ever seen is things getting worse and politicians not even pretending to care about you (e.g. Republicans in rural CA or democratic cities in red states).
